painting has begun

started sketching directly on the canvas.


love the knees and legs. and OH i LOVE my (water-mixable) OILS! it's more like sculpting than painting, to me, anyway.
my daughter says it's a picture of HER on the swing.
the curly red hair reminds me of my own childhood, also.
